Universal Studios® Orlando is the original Universal theme park which along with Islands of Adventure®, and Universal City Walk® make up the Universal Orlando® Resort.

Opened in 1990, Universal Studios® tickets allow you to “Ride the movies.” The park is broken down into a range of areas including Production Central which celebrates some of the most famous movies produced by Universal Studios and Woody Woodpeckers Kidzone which is the area of the park you’ll have to hold on to your young children!  The cities of New York, San Francisco and Hollywood are recreated and will have you wondering if you are still in Florida (until you spot a roller-coaster that is).

One of the newest and most popular rides at Universal Studios® Orlando is the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, combining music with thrills, you start by climbing vertically 17 floors above the park, then drop to exhilarating twists, turns and loops at 65mph, all with your favourite music playing around you. Next to this is the futuristic Shrek 4D, also recently opened, this gives you the opportunity to enjoy technologically advanced interactive fun for all families and ages!

The list of rides at Universal Studios® is seemingly never-ending. Twister...ride it out and Jaws are the oldest rides in the park, and Jaws actually takes you on a trip into one of the scenes of the blockbusting film. Next to Twister is the Revenge of the Mummy, an indoor roller-coaster that plunges you in to darkness as you fight scarabs, fire and an army of mummies. Terminator 2: 3D allows you to save the world and is packed with stunts, 3D film and special effects. Battle aliens in Men In Black: Alien Attack, ride with the Simpson's and help save E.T's home in this sequel ride to the legendary kids film.

And if you should ever find that you’ve had your fill of roller-coasters then Universal Studios® Orlando also offers various live entertainment shows including The Blues Brothers show and the musical play Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue.
